What Not to Do

Also, Some Notes About Sensitivities

TICKLISH
People are ticklish. Your options are to avoid ticklish areas or work through it and hope it subsides. Check in with client to figure out the right move.

HEADACHE
People who are prone to headaches might get a headache from tuning forks. Make sure people are hydrated and have a little food in their system before session. If someone gets a headache while working, stop and try again another day. Remember that less is more with these types. (The funny thing is tuning forks can also remove headaches for some people. This is a case by case thing.)

FACE
Avoid waving tuning forks too close or too fast in someone's face especially near the eyes.

RANDOM BODY PARTS
Sometimes people have certain parts of their body they don't like being touched (scars, past injuries, other traumas). Check in throughout the session and have them tell you if anything is unpleasant. If so, avoid those areas.

EMOTIONAL RELEASE
Vibration like any type of music evokes emotion. If someone starts crying, let them know it's okay and vibration can have that effect sometimes. Check in with them about it. "Are you okay? Would you like to continue?"
