HOW IT WORKS AND WHY IT ROCKS
School Of Sonotherapy is dedicated to making vibrational medicine accessible to health practitioners of all backgrounds in order to increase the impact of their work. The following course is focused on demonstrating the practical application of sound therapy. If you haven't done so already, check out this page for recommended reading and some answered questions ABOUT HEALING WITH SOUND.
GLOSSARY
​My favorite part of any book is the glossary (i also love the table of contents, index and chapter titles *geek face emoji*). I studied linguistics in college and spent much of my time with my nose in dictionaries. I believe definitions unlock new depths of understanding and for that reason, I have included a glossary with some of the main words and concepts that we engage with in vibrational therapies. DEFINITIONS.

​ASSIGNMENT:
​

1. Take some time and listen to your tuning fork frequencies.
Take note of how each frequency or frequency combo makes you feel.
Where in your physical body are you sensing it?
Where in your energetic body are you sensing it? 

2. Practice activating your tuning forks.
Practice soft, medium and hard activation.
Which force feels most natural for you?
Take notice of the differences.
Does the activation sound clanky?
If so, practice until the activation sounds clean.
If you have a table-top and leg-strap activator, take turns practicing with each of them.
The tuning forks should feel like an extension of your hands.
Activating them should eventually come naturally and gracefully.
As with any musical instrument, you should practice playing your tuning forks regularly.

WHAT ARE PRE-TERM CONTRACTIONS?

Braxton hicks contractions (false contractions, menstrual cramps)

        The noticed pattern is these are more common with the following:

            short cyclers
            high stress environment
            workaholics
            infections - bv, yeast, uti, others (irregular cervical mucous)
            fatigue, exhaustion >> uterine exhaustion
            feelings of not being enough
                not having enough support, not being able to accept support
                not asking for help, not accepting help
            accidents
            grief
            dehydration
